Sandy is a seasoned international coach, consultant and trainer with over twenty-five years of experience in diverse corporate environments and international organizations. Using her expertise in negotiation, creativity and working with high performance teams, she has served clients in the forest products, aluminum, aerospace, tourism and banking industries.
For several years her career spanned the globe with international clients such as the African Development Bank, The International Monetary Fund, the Sri Lankan Business Development Center and numerous projects for the United States Agency for International Development.
She is also a Certified Mediator and a Certified Professional Coach, with a Living Your Vision™ focus.
Sandy has an unusual ability to work successfully at all levels of the organization and to tune into corporate needs and changes as they unfold. This is evidenced by the several long-term, committed clients with whom she has worked continuously for over fifteen years —a track record that is unusual in the consulting and coaching business.
Sandy combines intuition, coaching, negotiation and mediation, and creative problem solving in a rare synthesis of skills and processes that allow both teams and individuals to breakthrough to new levels of performance and fulfillment. She does this from a place of compassion and integrity honed through years of intense personal transformation work. Sandy is a highly intuitive, logical, organized thinker and planner, as well as an excellent communicator, which makes her work very effective for both one-on-one and groups.
Before starting her own Seattle consulting firm in 1990, she spent several years as a senior management development consultant for the Coverdale Organization Inc. based in London and Washington D.C. She is still a senior consultant for them.
Sandy has a Bachelors of Science with Honors and Distinction from Cornell University and Masters Degrees from both Yale (Neurobiology) and the School for International Training (International Administration). Along with her academic and corporate credentials, she has diverse life experience that creates a unique context for coaching, creative problem solving and consulting. This includes running a successful llama ranch, being a silent partner in a rural medical practice, traveling internationally and living for several years in Central Africa, first as a Peace Corps volunteer and later as a consultant.
